Most comedy clubs smell like beer, chicken and desperation. M.I.’s (Mission Improvable) Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica is out to change that with its new stand-up fragrance – L’Humor.

Something smells funny.

M.I.’s Westside Comedy Theater is LA’s only dedicated comedy stage and training center west of the 405, produces 60 shows a month, seven nights a week, and offers classes in standup, improv and sketch.

Tucked away in an alley just off the world-famous Third Street Promenade, M.i.’s Westside Comedy Theater has hosted the biggest names in comedy including Adam Sandler, Dana Carvey, Dave Chappelle, Zach Galifiniakis, Ali Wong and Chris Rock, as well as incubating the next generation of up-and-coming comics and writers for over 14 years.

L’HUMOR is described as:

A waft of witticism

The sharp aroma of topical politics

A hint of puns with a bouquet of crowd work

The sweet smell of hysterical laughter

And the scent is…

Just in time for April Fool’s

Working with Milwaukee-based Hanson Dodge, M.i.’s Westside Comedy Theater is launching its own signature scent – L’HUMOR. The scent celebrates the theater’s 14th anniversary and reminds people that “something smells funny in here.”

Supporting the fragrance are parody scent ads/full-size posters, digital and social media, and sample spritzers which will be distributed to patrons attending the theater’s 14th-anniversary party on April 1.  And it’s all packaged together in a unique box set. Watch below:

Supporting the fragrance are parody print and digital ads, plus social media. Patrons can even nab a sample spritz if they attend the theater’s 14th-anniversary party on April 1.

Can’t wait to see if Hanson Dodge comes up with a scent for a strip club. Something smells… Probably a bad idea.
