After a brief walk-out due to the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha Wisconsin, NBA players have returned to the court. TNT will begin NBA Playoffs Second Round game coverage with Game 1 between the No. 1 seed in the East – the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo – and the Miami Heat with Jimmy Butler, tonight Monday, Aug. 31, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The Houston Rockets and James Harden will then take on the Oklahoma City Thunder and Chris Paul in Game 6 of their First Round series, tomorrow at 9 p.m.
Tonight’s doubleheader follows last night’s Round One presentation of Game 6 of the Denver Nuggets/Utah Jazz series at 8:30 p.m. The Nuggets won 119-107, tying the series at three.
TNT’s NBA Playoffs coverage will showcase the Sports Emmy Award-winning studio team of host Ernie Johnson alongside Hall of Famers Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal and two-time NBA Champion Kenny Smith providing analysis during the TNT NBA Tip-Off Presented by Autotrader pregame show and the American Express Halftime Report, with extensive Inside the NBA Presented by Kia postgame commentary.
