TikTok Star EJ Marcus is Heinz’s Vegetarian Vampire

Heinz

Yeah, yeah we know – Halloween is so last month, but we still need to talk about some of the campaigns we loved, like this one from storytelling production company 1stAveMachine and Wieden + Kennedy for Heinz.

Titled “Vegetarian Vampire”, the campaign feature TikTok star EJ Marcus, and debuted during the premiere of AMC’s new Interview With the Vampire series.

The PSA-esque spot, directed by award-winning comedy writer, director, and actor David Ebert, features 280-year-old vampire, influencer, and activist Toby pleading for his fellow vampires to consider becoming “vegetarian” by switching their diets from his human friends to Heinz Tomato Blood ketchup. “Vegetarian Vampire” is just one of the recent TikTok-centric projects David has helmed for 1stAveMachine. His previous campaign for Kraft, “Real Mayo”, utilized his non-accredited astrological knowledge to deliver personalized readings on TikTok and Twitter.

David was also the Creative Director for “GroupHug”, a 1stAveMachine-created TikTok channel created with the goal of showcasing the impact and utility of TikTok for brands. The project featured over 80 pieces of content with over 30 creators.
