Digital Domain, RPA create Zoom backgrounds for Pride

June is typically when North America gets dressed up in a cascade of rainbow and glitter for Pride. Unfortunately, the 51st celebration of the Stonewall Riots has to be altered due to social distancing and flattening the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

As has been reported, many celebratory events for the LGBTQ+ community are going digital. But we can’t let that rain on this very important parade.

While Pride, for the most part, can’t hit the streets, even with many states reopening, RPA Advertising has partnered with Digital Domain among other top-tier production houses to create a virtual solution – a collection of bright colorful Zoom backgrounds you can use on your next video call. For those who don’t know, Pride commemorates the event which happened in 1969 after a police raid that began in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.
