Watch Avocados Super Bowl spot w/ Molly Ringwald

No more teases. Energy BBDO and Avocados from Mexico have released the full :30-second spot which will run on the Super Bowl and a :60-second version which will run online on YouTube. Both star Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink and Riverdale star, Molly Ringwald.

Titled “The Avocados From Mexico Shopping Network,” it’s a spin-off of your favorite home shopping network shows Of course it is.

Molly plays a co-host where she provides viewers with the ultimate gifts to pamper their favorite fruit—avocados. From chip floaties to tracksuits and car seats, your most precious avocados are sure to be protected and pampered. Watch both versions, directed by Moxie Pictures Frank Todaro, below:

In 2019, the U.S. imported more than 2.1 billion pounds of Mexican avocados—of which more than 285 million pounds were imported the five weeks prior to the Super Bowl. The brand expect numbers to increase in 2020. That’s a lot of guac and chips.

Last year, Energy BBDO unleashed a Super Bowl spot that featured Kristin Chenoweth coaching a trio of canines on the proper way to sing the Avocados from Mexico jingles. This should be just as fun.
