Vincent Kartheiser will play Scarecrow on Titans

I always thought Mad Men’s Pete Campbell was kind of creepy. In a weasel way. The Wrap now reports that actor Vincent Kartheiser will go from Mad Man to insane villain as the actor was just cast as Jonathan Crane (aka Scarecrow) on the HBO Max series Titans.

According to outlet, as we enter the third season of Titans, “Crane is past his Scarecrow days and is locked up in Arkham Asylum. As Scarecrow, Crane terrorized Gotham City using toxins to exploit his enemies’ phobias.”

Titans was renewed for its third season when it was still streaming on DC Universe. Since then, the series moved to HBO Max and DC Universe has rebranded as a fan community.

The series is based on DC Comics’ Teen Titans, a superhero team created in 1964 by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani. In its original incarnation, the group was comprised primarily of teenagers who served as sidekicks to DC’s adult heroes, including Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Super Boy, Speedy and Aqualad.
