Two Best of Discipline honors
for Tess Co.’s COGY Wheelchair.

(New York City — 7 May 2018) Agencies and studios large and small from 34 countries, ranging from the largest global networks to independent freelancers, were named top winners at The One Club for Creativity’s global ADC 97th Annual Awards tonight in New York, celebrating the world’s most forward-thinking work in craft, design and innovation.

The wide range of winners was particularly noticeable this year, spurred on by the show’s new tiered pricing system to make it more affordable for small shops and freelancers to enter.

Independent designer Kevin Cantrell of Mantua, UT, USA was awarded Best of
Discipline honors in Typography for his work for Wired Magazine.

“As a one-person show with limited budget, I could finally to take a chance and go for it this year, putting my work up against the largest agencies and teams,” he said. “I’m so glad I did, it paid off beyond all hopes.”

ADC Black Cube for Best of Show went to Barbers by Furlined, Santa Monica. Created for Apple, the spot also won Best of Discipline and a Gold Cube in Motion & Film Craft and three Merits in Advertising.
