Marvel Studios has unveiled the teaser trailer and poster for its upcoming feature film, Thunderbolts*. Directed by Jake Schreier and produced by Kevin Feige, the film assembles an unlikely team of misfit heroes and anti-heroes from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Led by Yelena Belova, the brooding assassin portrayed by Florence Pugh, Thunderbolts* promises to be an irreverent take on the classic superhero team-up genre. The film features the return of several familiar MCU characters, including Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker/U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Ghost (Hannah JohnKamen), and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Alongside these returning faces, fans can also look forward to meeting “Bob” in the trailer who is most likely the big bad, Sentry (Lewis Pullman). Watch the trailer below:

Produced by a team of indie veterans, Thunderbolts is positioned as a fresh and unique offering in the Marvel slate, embracing a tone and style distinct from its previous superhero ensemble films. Executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek, Jason Tamez, and Scarlett Johansson join Feige in bringing this eclectic team to the big screen.

Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 2, 2025. Keep an eye out for more updates as the film approaches its release!
