The Directors Bureau signs Agostina Gálvez

Agostina Gálvez

The Directors Bureau has added director Agostina Gálvez to its roster for commercial representation, bringing in a filmmaker known for her visually driven style and sharp cultural perspective.

Gálvez’s work blends dynamic camera movement with precise art direction, often centering confident, complex portrayals of women. Her portfolio spans campaigns for brands including Renault, poppi, Miu Miu, Valentino, Samsung, Gap, and adidas.

She gained wider recognition for directing poppi’s first Super Bowl spot, “The Future of Soda is Now,” which was named among the game’s top commercials by The New York Times. The film stood out for its vibrant color palette, kinetic pacing, and focus on Gen Z and young millennial women.

Her fashion and editorial work has also drawn attention. In i-D’s “Coach Presents the A-Z of New York Style,” Gálvez captured a cross-section of New York subcultures, building a portrait of the city through real, character-driven moments that feel both stylized and authentic.

“When I first saw Agos’ work, I felt an immediate connection,” said Roman Coppola, Director and Owner of The Directors Bureau. “There’s a sense of play and imaginative spark in her filmmaking.”

Gálvez’s work is often defined by movement, whether through choreography, camera work, or performance. That sensibility is especially clear in TRESemmé’s “Fluid,” a branded short featuring synchronized swimmers and created in collaboration with choreographer Parris Goebel.

“Dance has always been part of my visual language,” Gálvez said. “Being around movement from such a young age shaped the way I see space, rhythm, and storytelling.”

Her background spans photography, fine art, and film. After studying art and working on set early in her career, she gravitated toward filmmaking as a more collaborative creative outlet.

In addition to commercial work, Gálvez has co-directed narrative shorts including The Bride of Frankenstein and Dear Renzo, both of which were selected for major festivals including New York Film Festival, AFI, Locarno, and BFI, with one acquired by HBO.

“The Directors Bureau feels like a truly creative space that values craft and original ideas,” Gálvez said. “I’m excited to collaborate with people who are open to exploring new ideas in narrative, art direction, and camera work.”

For The Directors Bureau, the signing adds a director with a distinct visual voice and a growing body of work that continues to bridge fashion, culture, and storytelling.

Reel 360 News wishes Agostina the best of luck at the Director’s Bureau.
