Heavy rain, hail, rare snow, fog and blackouts could not keep people away as fashion icon Sue Wong threw one of her exclusive, star-studded soirées, unveiling Palazzo Marrakesh to her closest friends.

In attendance were actor Kelsey Grammer (Frasier, Cheers, X-Men: the Last Stand, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and his daughter Greer, designer Donald J. Pliner and Lisa Faith Barbernell-Pliner, Sacha Stone, Scott McKay, Abbot Yeanfan of the Shaolin Temple, the Reverend Patrick McCollum.

Also in attendance at Wong’s soireé were Nigel Daly and wife Louise Salter, Hilary Barraford (Kevin Can F*ck Himself, The Ice Cream Truck, The After Party), writer/director Colin Francis Costello (The Stream, Storage), Caroline Lagerfelt, actor/rock musician, Ronn Moss, producer Larry Kasanoff, E! founder Larry Namer, Vincent De Paul, Leon Hendrix, the brother of Rock immortal Jimi Hendrix, Scott Page (Pink Floyd), Chris Pitman (Guns ‘N Roses), violinist Scarlet Rivera, and many others. 

Inspired and emboldened by the Moroccan fantasy that Wong had created at her home, The Cedars, Wong embarked on designing an entire 10,300 square-foot Moroccan palazzo in Los Feliz.
