StrawberryFrog has announced the appointment of Nick Sonderup as its new Executive Creative Director. With over 22 years of experience and a wealth of accolades, Sonderup joins the esteemed strategic consulting and creative marketing firm to infuse his visionary talent, insight, and leadership into its creative endeavors, propelling StrawberryFrog’s innovative surge into 2024.

Formerly at Pereira O’Dell, where he spearheaded the NY Office and creative department for over five years, Sonderup brings with him a distinguished portfolio of work. He has led groundbreaking campaigns for iconic clients including MINI, Stella Artois, Corona, Pillsbury, The Central Park Conservancy, Yellowtail wine, and Redemption whiskey, among others.

Notably, his work for GE garnered an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Commercial” in 2014 during his tenure at BBDO New York.



With a career spanning leadership roles at Ogilvy, Translation, and MTV, Sonderup brings a wealth of diverse experiences to StrawberryFrog. He began his agency journey as a copywriter at Wieden + Kennedy after serving as MTV’s sole writer in the Off-Air Creative department.

Beyond his advertising endeavors, Sonderup’s creative spirit extends to personal projects, including the acclaimed documentary “100 Bands in 100 Days,” which earned a Grand Jury award nomination at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival.
