Station Films welcomes Paul Iannacchino

Station Film has announced the addition of acclaimed director Paul Iannacchino to their team for commercial representation.

Known for his versatility and an impressive portfolio of high-profile experiential campaigns, Iannacchino’s work has garnered wide acclaim, including Coca-Cola’s iconic “Happiness Machine,” Bud Light’s “Friendship Test” with Post Malone, and Benjamin Moore’s “Green Monster” featuring Boston legend Lenny Clark as the voice of Fenway Park’s iconic high left field wall.

Whether crafting experiential campaigns, sports-themed hidden camera ads for the New York Lottery, documentary-style pieces advocating pandemic-era nurses for Chamberlain University, or contributing to SoCal Honda’s “Helpful” campaign via Secret Weapon, Iannacchino’s work consistently embodies two key elements: realism and heart.

Stephen Orent, Founding Partner at Station Film, praised Iannacchino, stating, “Paul can shape and deliver great stories, is brilliant at working with talent to achieve authentic performances across genres, and is a collaborative partner for clients and creatives. He also enjoys embracing the latest technology tools. With his accomplished track record, we look forward to unleashing him on exciting new opportunities.”

His decision to join Station Film was rooted in a belief in the people. He expressed, “Being at Station is about the people. Period. At this point in my career, it’s all about being around individuals who are the best at what they do. Station also felt like the perfect platform to bridge the gap from my current body of work to a place that isn’t confined to any single genre. As a massive sports fan with three kids involved in sports, and as a youth sports coach, I’m keen to explore sports-centric content, which is where my advertising career began.”

Michelle Towse, Partner and Executive Producer at Station Film, highlighted Iannacchino’s unique qualities, saying, “Paul thinks like a surgeon who also paints. He is strategic, incredibly intelligent, and possesses an uncanny ability to navigate complex processes while maintaining a keen eye for creativity. We are thrilled to welcome him into our family and continue to build upon his already impressive career.”

Iannacchino’s journey into directing commercials took an unconventional path. He initially moved to New York to pursue a career in hip-hop, achieving some success with his hip-hop trio and a record contract under independent label Def Jux. However, he found touring unappealing. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and prior experience as a graphic designer, he secured a position as an Art Director at the NFL. This career transition led him to leave his music ambitions behind and focus on advertising.

He quickly excelled, writing and directing commercials for the NFL, USA Network, and InDemand. His turning point came when he won a pitch for Coca-Cola, resulting in the viral sensation “The Happiness Machine.” Iannacchino’s directorial talents have since been sought after by numerous brands, including CNBC, Olay, Febreze, Fanta, BCBS, Hyundai, Pepsi, A&W, and many others.

Reel 360 News wishes Paul the best of luck in his new role.
