Sinners Saints Lux Production

Bicoastal production company Sinners and Saints, under the leadership of Managing Director/EP Heather Heller, has formed a strategic partnership with Lux Angeles Studios, a renowned four-time Emmy-winning production and post-production company.

The collaboration solidifies their operations at a sprawling 66,000-square-foot, Data Secure TPN Certified facility at the former Netflix building in Hollywood. This state-of-the-art space, known for top-tier post-production capabilities, offers services from offline and online editing to color grading, VFX, sound, and screening, making it a comprehensive production and post-production hub.

The partnership came to life through coordination between Heller and Lux Angeles’s leadership team, consisting of Matthew Macur, Rebecca O’Hara, Jared Safier, Lenny Vitulli, and Thomas Walton, along with Charlie Zwick, who heads Lux Angeles’s Short Form Division.

Enhanced Operations and a Versatile Team

The partnership combines Sinners and Saints’ expanding foothold in both commercial and feature film projects, while Lux Angeles brings its strengths in post-production to the table, creating a seamless dovetail for both companies.

Heather Heller highlighted that the collaboration has already proven fruitful, with two projects completed within this inspiring environment. Lux Angeles’s expertise has been instrumental in providing luxury services to clients like Disney and Lionsgate, and this new collaboration aims to continue building on such partnerships.

Lux Angeles founder and Co-CEO, Matthew Macur, sees the partnership as a streamlined solution that integrates all aspects of production and post-production under one roof. This allows Sinners and Saints to utilize a broad suite of in-house services, ensuring efficient and cohesive project management.

Directorial Talent and Recent Work

Sinners and Saints operates with a diverse roster of directors and feature filmmakers like Francis Lawrence and Lisa Joy, who are available for assignments. The director lineup includes talents like Jessy Terrero, Adrien Galo, Steve Pink, Julien Rocher, Arnaud Deroudilhe, Ivo Wejgaard, Lado Kvataniya, Remy Cayuela, and Jean Claude Thibaut, as well as Apple Pie Tabletop for commercial and branded work.

In addition to their robust capabilities at Lux Angeles Studios, Sinners and Saints also have a mobile tabletop studio in Los Angeles and access to a full-service studio in New York. The partnership’s first few months have been busy, with Remy Cayuela directing a project for Robitussin/Theraflu, Jean Claude Thibaut handling a Huawei assignment, and Apple Pie collaborating on a Wienerschnitzel project.

Moreover, Aaron Kaufman, an EP at Sinners and Saints, was nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy for Superpowered, while Steve Pink received praise for his feature documentary, The Last Republican.

The collaboration between Sinners and Saints and Lux Angeles Post Production is set to enhance creative output across commercial, branded, and long-form projects, fostering a blend of talent, technology, and storytelling in the Hollywood and global media landscape.
