The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is inviting visitors to see wildlife conservation through a fresh lens with its captivating new campaign, “See Conservation From a New Perspective,” created by David&Goliath (D&G) for San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance (SDZWA).

The campaign aims to immerse viewers in an unforgettable experience unlike any traditional zoo, urging them to connect with wildlife on a deeper level.

Directed by Emmy Award-winning National Geographic filmmaker, Justin Bastien, the campaign’s centerpiece is a visually stunning :30 hero film titled “Eye to Eye,” which transports viewers into the heart of the Safari Park’s expansive savanna habitat. Riding aboard a safari truck, visitors journey across hundreds of acres where they encounter a diverse array of wildlife species roaming freely as if in the wild.

The campaign’s imagery, showcased in visually arresting print ads and the “Eye to Eye” film, captures the soulful gaze of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and rhinos as they lock eyes with mesmerized visitors. Through these intimate encounters, the campaign highlights the profound connection between humans and endangered species, emphasizing that each visit to the Safari Park supports global conservation efforts. “See Conservation From a New Perspective” seeks to give people an eye-to-eye connection with the unique creatures of the Safari Park,” said Ben Purcell, Chief Creative Officer at D&G. “You have to experience it to understand how special it is. So, we urge people to experience the Safari Park for themselves to see how your visit has a positive impact.”

David Miller, chief marketing officer at SDZWA, expressed excitement about the campaign’s ability to connect people with wildlife through immersive storytelling. “Conservation starts with people, and when you come eye to eye with wildlife, you can experience moments that inspire you to help save, protect, and secure a future for these majestic animals,” Miller said.

The campaign includes a 30-second film airing on local broadcast in San Diego and Los Angeles markets, along with shorter social videos, radio spots, and print ads. These elements are designed to draw visitors into the Safari Park’s story, showcase the diverse experiences available, and encourage participation in conservation efforts.

With “See Conservation From a New Perspective,” the San Diego Zoo Safari Park reminds us that a world without these magnificent creatures is unimaginable.
