Rakish finds Friendship on the East Coast

Rakish Friendship

Los Angeles-based production company Rakish has announced a strategic partnership with Emily Friendship of New York City-based Commonwealth to enhance their East Coast sales representation.

With Friendship on board, Rakish aims to bolster its commercial and branded content projects, building on their latest successes, including the launch of their new long-form division led by Zack Williams, Head of Creative Development. Friendship will work closely with Rakish’s Head of Sales, Chiara Useche, to drive the company’s growth and further its innovative vision.

With a diverse 15-year career spanning feature film production and international sales, Friendship brings a wealth of storytelling expertise to Rakish’s expanding focus on advertising and long-form narrative projects. Her tenure as Senior Vice President of International Sales at Inferno Films has equipped her with a deep understanding of talent relations, creative development, production, and sales, perfectly complementing Rakish’s ambitious direction.

“It is with uncurbed pride we welcome Rakish to the Commonwealth, a partnering that marks not only the beginning of an epic creative journey, where visions are blended and standards surpassed, but also the joining of like-spirited people for whom ambition and a love of craft are the driving force,” shared Friendship.

Rakish’s Managing Director, Preston Garrett, emphasizes the uniqueness of this collaboration: “Emily isn’t like anyone else I’ve met in this bizarre business, let alone anyone who’s working in commercial sales. Her fluency with all things filmmaking, the business of long-form, and her ability to speak the elusive language of ‘Director’ across commercials and films is unique to her. In that way it’s totally apt to call our working relationship a partnership. She thinks like a filmmaker, a producer, a writer, who just happens to work in sales.”

Reel 360 News wishes Emily the best of luck at Rakish.
