Quality Experience, the independent agency, known for its striking campaigns for brands like Shutterfly and Tonal, will shut down at the end of March following the death of its founder, Ari Weiss.
In a statement, CEO Dan Gonda, Chief Strategy Officer Colleen Leddy, and Chief Creative Officer Cristina Reina announced the decision, calling it an “incredibly difficult” but necessary step.
“Ari’s vision was the foundation of this agency—a relentless pursuit of bold, culture-shaping creativity that challenged the industry to think bigger. His influence lives on, and his legacy will continue to inspire us,” they said.
Weiss, who launched Quality Experience in early 2024 after nearly seven years at DDB, passed away in February following a battle with cancer. Despite its brief existence, the agency quickly made an impact with high-profile work, gaining recognition for its fresh creative approach.
“We are incredibly proud of the work we created, the partnerships we forged, and the impact we made in the short year we had together,” the agency leaders added. “To our clients, collaborators, and everyone who believed in what we were building—thank you. While this chapter for us is coming to a close, the spirit of what we built together—and the work that came from it—will endure.”
