M&Ms mascots eating Snickers, a twerking zombie lawn decoration, and an outdoor electric skeleton pounding a living room make up Mars’ spooky but nostalgic treats this Halloween season, blending a little bit of trickery with its candy classics. Clocking in at 15 seconds a piece, the creative is like getting fun-sized candies in our Trick or Treat pumpkin.

BBDO crafted and developed the new creative, capturing suburban fun and how those decorations, which are not cheap, do their own thing. In the first spot, Yellow and Green face a dilemma when they encounter a fellow candy, Snickers. Watch below:

The campaign also features more cheeky Halloween moments. In another spot, a massive zombie lawn decoration comes to life, catching the attention of millions on TikTok as it goes viral with its larger-than-life presence.

And in another, an electric skeleton crashes into a living room, rattling its bones for a few more harmless scares. Watch below:

Directed by Pete Marquis of Good Behavior, these spots lean into the breezy fun of Halloween, offering some much-needed laughs, embracing throwback energy, and delivering seasonal charm and candy-filled fun just in time for All Hallows’ Eve.

A recent ranking from Candystore.com crowned M&M’S as the #1 Halloween candy nationwide. But that is not the only reason to celebrate. M&M’S is bringing back the M&M’S Halloween Rescue Squad in an effort to rescue even more consumers from the scariest scenario possible — running out of candy on Halloween night.

The “Mars Tricks, Treats and Trends” report found that 78% of consumers say they are most anxious about running out of candy, making it the top cause of Halloween anxiety. So to rescue even more consumers from the haunting sight of an empty candy bowl this Halloween, M&M’S is debuting the first-ever M&M’S Halloween Rescue BOOths in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

For Halloween treaters not in those markets, M&M’S Rescue Squad, in partnership with GoPuff, is on call to restock the candy bowls of consumers across the county who dipped into their candy stash too early or underestimated the number of trick-or-treaters to show up at their door. Learn more about how to rescue your Halloween night at MMS.com/Halloween-Rescue-Squad.

It’s a sweet and spooky celebration Snickers fans will eat up.
