
The NFL has launched its 2024 season with a powerful brand campaign titled “This Is Football Country,” spotlighting the global passion and unity inspired by the sport. The 60-second video, which premiered today, serves as a rallying anthem that showcases how football continues to bring communities together across the world.
The commercial opens in a locker room with the Lahainaluna High School football team, known for their resilience during the Hawaiian fires. The team’s powerful chant, “Remember who we are and who we represent,” sets the tone for the campaign, echoing through various football scenes across the globe. The video features prominent NFL stars, including Stefon Diggs (Houston Texans), Myles Garrett (Cleveland Browns), DeMarcus Lawrence (Dallas Cowboys), and NFL legend Jason Kelce with his wife, Kylie.
In addition to professional players, the campaign highlights real-life football ambassadors from diverse backgrounds. Rising flag football star Makena Cook, college tackle player Haley Van Voorhis, and popular football creator Deestroying are all featured, emphasizing the sport’s wide-reaching impact. The campaign also includes appearances by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ USA Wheelchair Football League team and international football scenes shot in Brazil, Japan, Mexico, and more. Watch below:

As part of its global strategy, the NFL is set to deliver an epic four-day Kickoff weekend starting September 5, 2024, with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Baltimore Ravens. The weekend will also feature a historic matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil, followed by additional games in London and Munich later in the season.
The campaign, created by 72andSunny, will roll out throughout the year, with vignettes showcasing football stories worldwide. With the inclusion of flag football in the 2028 Summer Olympic Games, the NFL’s commitment to expanding the sport’s reach and inclusivity is evident.
