The NFL is set to spotlight its expanding global initiatives in its 2024 Super Bowl commercial, as revealed in a teaser released on Sunday featuring three of the league’s top stars navigating downtown Accra, Ghana.

The 15-second teaser, crafted by 72andSunny and airing during the AFC championship game on CBS, showcases Saquon Barkley (New York Giants), Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings), and Cameron Jordan (New Orleans Saints) in action, fully suited up, as they display their athletic prowess in a vibrant local market in the capital city of the African nation.

Entitled “Born to Play,” the campaign celebrates the NFL’s international efforts worldwide, emphasizing the development of local talent and the creation of pathways to the league. It serves as a tribute to the league’s global endeavors, reflecting its commitment to fostering football fandom beyond U.S. borders.

In the teaser, viewers witness Barkley leaping over a checkers’ table, Jordan executing a remarkable flip over a vehicle, and Jefferson making a stunning one-handed catch before demonstrating his signature dance moves. Watch below:



Directed by Andrew Dosunmu of Little Minx, with cinematographer Malik Hassan Sayeed, the teaser also provides a glimpse into the forthcoming full Super Bowl spot.

The NFL’s international presence has significantly expanded in recent years, with the introduction of the Global Markets Program in 2022. Currently, 21 teams are participating across 14 international markets, amplifying marketing, fan engagement, and commercialization efforts globally. Additionally, the NFL hosted three games in London and two in Frankfurt, Germany, during the current season, further underscoring its dedication to cultivating a worldwide football community.

Super Bowl LVIII will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, February 11, 2024. It will be broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon. Usher will perform at halftime.
