Whoooooooooooooooooooooooa. You won’t need your morning coffee after watching the new trailer for Mission: Impossible – Fallout starring Tom Cruise. Really one of Hollywood’s last “movie stars” Cruise is jumping, falling and trying to avoid crashed helicopters rolling down hills. The 2:33 trailer also features Cruise’s infamous rooftop jump that broke his ankle and postponed filming. Watch below:
Along with Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris are returning to the series. New additions include Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Wes Bentley, Sean Harris and Henry Cavill, who is sporting the mustache that had to be edited out of Warner Bros.’ Justice League.
In Fallout, Ethan Hunt Cruise) and his IMF team (Baldwin, Pegg, Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Ferguson, Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.
The film is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who worked on the previous film in the series, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Cruise, McQuarrie, Jake Myers, and J.J. Abrams produced.
