Hulu has released the trailer for Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building. The Emmy Award-nominated series returns with two episodes on Tuesday, August 8, with new episodes streaming weekly.
Season 3 finds Charles (Disney Legend Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show. Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) is a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his untimely death.
Aided by co-star Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), the trio embarks on their toughest case yet, all while director Oliver desperately attempts to put his show back together. Watch the trailer below:

Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, originally strangers, share a common passion for true crime. Their lives took an unexpected turn when a mysterious murder occured in their apartment building. Driven by their fascination with criminal mysteries, the trio joined forces to investigate the murder and uncover the truth behind the incident, documenting their findings in a true crime podcast.

The show’s second season received significant recognition, garnering 11 Emmy nominations. The nominations include “Outstanding Comedy Series,” and recognition for individual performances, such as “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series” and “Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series” for Nathan Lane.
Streep’s casting announcement was made in January via an Instagram video shared through Gomez’s account. She’s credited as appearing in a recurring role.
Only Murders in the Building hails from co-creators and writers Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
