Law & Order’s Chris Meloni bares workout routine for Peloton

Happy National Nude Day! Now, we know there is a holiday to celebrate 365 days a year. Not missing a chance to show off his 61-year-old physique, which would shame any 25-year-old, Christopher Meloni of Dick Wolf’s Law & Order: Organized Crime, has teamed up with Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds to launch a naked work-out video for Peloton.

Created by Ryan Reynold’s agency Maximum Effort, Meloni bares all as he works out in the buff. Don’t worry squeamish peeps, his man bits are strategically blurred. The caption to the video: “We love all our Members…even those who observe interesting holidays #NationalNudeDay.”

“Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange,” says a huffing Meloni in the video. “Honestly I don’t get it. Me, I don’t think using the Peloton app is strange at all.” Meloni then displays how he uses the app for yoga, cardio, meditation, and strength training. “I even use the app for running,” he confesses. “Now, does that seem strange to you?”

The Reel 360 Team just loves the oh-so-serious voiceover by Steve Zirnkilton, similar to Law & Order. “In the Peloton community, users are represented by two separate, yet equally motivated groups: those who wear pants, and Christopher Meloni.” Watch below:

While the video is funny AF, it remains to be seen if it will help boost Peloton sales. According to The Motley Fool, the demand for the brand’s bikes and treadmills has collapsed lately. The company reported for its fiscal third quarter ending March 31, a revenue drop of 24% and a loss of $757 million in the last quarter. 

New CEO Barry McCarthy has made his top priority to bring the supply in line with demand so Peloton can return to profitability.
