Laundry Design, LLC has announced the addition of Erin Doyle Cooper to its directorial roster. Doyle Cooper brings a unique blend of docu-style storytelling and dark comedy to the team, seamlessly merging her background as a classically trained actor and improv comedian with her extensive production and agency experience.
Doyle Cooper, based in Los Angeles, is known for her ability to craft highly visual, emotionally charged work that challenges conventional norms. Her directorial portfolio spans manifesto-driven campaigns, impactful short documentaries, and subversive comedic pieces.
Before fully transitioning to directing, she made her mark as VaynerMedia’s first Creative Director and spent two years in-house at Pepsi, where she co-led creative efforts for Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Halftime Show and the iconic Cindy Crawford commercial.
“I’ve been following Laundry for a long time as both a creative director and freelance commercial director, and am thrilled to have joined a roster that shares my values of parity, kindness, and creativity as a vehicle for creating impactful live-action work for brands,” said Doyle Cooper.
James Sweigert, CEO and Managing Director of Laundry, expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition: “Erin is a welcome addition to the Laundry roster of directors because we have been seeing more requests for social-style content and innovative documentary visions, and she nails them both.”
