Laughlin Constable today announced that it has been awarded a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Bronze Anvil Award, a prestigious national award for the PR industry that recognizes outstanding achievements in public relations.
The agency, along with client U.S. Cellular and Nebraska-based partner agency Lukas Partners, was awarded the national recognition for its work announcing the wireless telecommunications company’s plans to expand its network to include 5G.
The new network rolled out in early 2020 in Wisconsin and Iowa, bringing 5G to locations where other carriers hadn’t yet. U.S. Cellular called on Laughlin Constable and Lukas Partners to make a splash in these markets with an earned media announcement.
Laughlin Constable researched, planned and executed a robust media relations strategy for the announcement, including leveraging U.S. Cellular’s annual Business Tech Tour featuring Robert Herjavec of ABC’s “Shark Tank,” who discussed the impact of technology and 5G on innovation.
“I am very proud of our team for continuing to produce award-winning, strategic and results-driven work that takes our clients from now to next,” said Laughlin Constable President and CEO Mat Lignel.
