Kia and David&Goliath tease Super Bowl ad

A blue pacifier. Hmmm. This is a real tease, folks. Kia America and creative partner David&Goliath have provided no other information for the carmaker’s 14th Big Game spot except this. However, being the sleuths that we are at Reel 360 News, we can speculate.

What we have is a baby blue pacifier attached to a key ring. Insert drumming fingers. Perhaps a baby is involved? Or a baby is driving a Kia Sportage Hybrid? Or maybe it’s an adult acting like a baby behind the wheel of a Kia EV6? Or maybe it’s a former president or Arizona governor candidate being featured?

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard get back together in a Kia K5?

Hmmm.

What we do know is last year’s Super Bowl spot from Kia and D&G took the world by storm. It featured the beloved Robo Dog. “Robo Dog,” opened on an electronics store where a lonely robotic puppy stares out the window as a “real” dog is lovingly petted by a passerby out for a walk.

Robo Dog then notices a young man unplug his Kia EV6 from a charging station and drive away, leaving the four-legged AI even more dejected. But he knows what he wants and the chase is on set to Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. Here is the spot that followed that up titled “Stick”:

So whatever this baby’s pacifier leads to on February 12, we are looking forward to it! The Super Bowl, featuring The Philadelphia Eagles vs. The Kansas City Chiefs, will kick off Sunday, February 12 at 6:30 EST/5:30 CST/3:30 PST.
