Everything, Everywhere All at Once is now the front-runner and could possibly win three acting awards for Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis. The film won four awards during last night’s ceremony which was broadcast live on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook with several media partners including Netflix.

The same can be said for Ke Huy Quan who was the first Asian to win Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role. “The leading role was played with these guys with their eyes taped up like this and they talked like this because the producers said the Asians were not good enough and they were not box office,” said Hong. “But look at us now!”

Honored with individual awards were Brendan FraserMichelle YeohKe Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis for performances in motion pictures, and Sam ElliottJessica ChastainJason BatemanJennifer CoolidgeJeremy Allen White, and Jean Smart for performances in television.

“Believe me, if you just stay in there and put one foot in front of the other, you’ll get where you need to go,” said Fraser, who anxiously eyed the actor-shaped trophy and left the stage saying he was going to go look for some pants for him.

The Actors for television drama and comedy ensemble performances went to The White Lotus and Abbott Elementary. Both series have dominated all awards shows, beginning with last year’s Emmys.

This year’s SAG Awards Ambassadors Antonia Gentry and Haley Lu Richardson revealed the honorees for outstanding action performances during the official live pre-show PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Red Carpet Live: 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
