George Clooney and Brad Pitt are back on the big screen together, and their latest collaboration promises to be a thrilling ride. The first trailer for their new comedic thriller, Wolfs, has been released, showcasing the tense and humorous dynamic between the two stars.
Sony Pictures is set to release Jon Watts’ highly anticipated movie in theaters on September 20. Alongside Clooney and Pitt, the film features Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan. The plot centers on two lone-wolf professional fixers who are unknowingly hired for the same job, setting the stage for a night full of unexpected twists and turns.
Jon Watts, known for his work on Spider-Man: No Way Home, both wrote and directed Wolfs. The production team includes Clooney and Grant Heslov for Smokehouse Pictures, and Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner for Plan B Entertainment. Watts and Dianne McGunigle also serve as producers.
The trailer begins with Clooney’s character confidently stating, “There’s nobody who can do what I do,” as he meticulously begins his work. However, his confidence is soon challenged when Pitt’s character appears, hired for the same job. The two fixers, initially at odds, must navigate their way through a chaotic night after discovering their assumed deceased target is actually alive. Despite their similarities in style and approach, both characters adamantly declare that they are not partners. Watch below:
