“And so begins the end.” That statement/threat from Darkseid, Lord of Apokolips could not ring more true, as indeed this is the end (?) of director Zack Snyder’s DCEU trilogy which began with Man of Steel (2013), continued with BvS: Dawn of Justice (2016), hiccuped the bastardized Justice League (2017) and will come to a conclusion with Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which premieres this Thursday on HBO Max.
In anticipation of the 4-hour event, HBO Max has released the final trailer and it is pretty damn good if you are a DC fan. We see Darkseid in all of his glory. Superman as a Christ figure (Snyder sure does love his religion) once again hovering over Earth. There’s Green Lantern Yaran Gur in action. And yes, even a glimpse of Martin Manhunter. Watch below:

In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.
The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.
Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid (Ray Porter) and their dreadful intentions. The movie premieres on HBO Max on March 18th.
