Eva Longoria is making the most of summer in Marbella. The 51-year-old actor, producer and director was photographed enjoying several days at the beach near her home in the Spanish resort city, where she alternated between pink, red and snake-print bikinis while swimming in the Mediterranean.
Longoria owns a villa in Marbella’s Sierra Blanca neighborhood with her husband, businessman José “Pepe” Bastón. The couple purchased the property in 2023 and now divide their time between Spain and Mexico with their 8-year-old son, Santiago.
The Desperate Housewives star has previously described the Marbella home as her personal escape from a demanding work schedule. “It’s my oasis, my paradise,” Longoria told Hello! in 2024. “When I’m not here, I work non-stop.”
She initially expected the relaxed coastal lifestyle to require little more than swimsuits and kaftans, though Marbella’s active social scene apparently changed those packing plans.
“The first time I came to Marbella, two decades ago, it was love at first sight,” she said. “I said to myself, ‘Someday I’ll live here.’”
Longoria frequently spends her summers in the area and hosts the annual Global Gift Gala in Marbella.

Finding balance after 50
Longoria has also spoken candidly about embracing her age rather than fearing it.
“I had a meltdown when I turned 30,” she told Good Housekeeping in June. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, my life is over.’ Now I’m like, ‘Shut up!’ I loved turning 40, and I loved turning 50.”
She said the experience and perspective that come with aging have helped her become more intentional about how she uses her time. “I love the wisdom that comes with experience,” Longoria said. “The second half of my life is definitely about managing the time I have to do the things I really love.”
The actor reportedly maintains a disciplined fitness routine, working out six days a week and often beginning her mornings around 5 a.m.
But Longoria says the most important part of her wellness routine is considerably less complicated: getting enough sleep. “Sleep is a huge beauty hack,” she said. “People are like, ‘Why do you look so great?’ I’m like, ‘I sleep. I really sleep.’”
Longoria said she prioritizes approximately eight hours each night, something she believes more people should treat as essential rather than optional.
After years spent moving constantly between acting, directing, producing and philanthropy, Marbella appears to offer Longoria the balance she has been seeking.
And judging by her latest beach days, the Spanish coast suits her just fine.
