Global creative company, Entropico, has announced the establishment of Entropico Originals, their dedicated originals arm focused on producing innovative film and television titles.

This expansion comes on the heels of the international success of their debut feature film, ONEFOUR: Against All Odds, released on Netflix last year. With offices in Sydney and Los Angeles, Entropico Originals aims to bring a diverse and energetic slate of original content to audiences worldwide.

Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Entropico, Erin Moy, expresses excitement about this new venture, stating, “We’re excited to follow up the success of our feature debut and long history making innovative short form originals and branded content work with a slate of offbeat, energetic, and relevant originals.”

Leading the Originals team are Christian Polsinelli, based in Los Angeles as Head of Alternative & Experiential, and Timothy Burnett, located in Sydney as Head of Scripted.

Polsinelli, with over 14 years of television production experience, has a rich background producing acclaimed TV shows for major networks such as ABC, NBC, and Fox. Notable projects in his portfolio include American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, World of Dance, America’s Got Talent, and The X Factor. His recent success includes Game On, a two-hour interactive livestream commissioned by YouTube, which garnered over 8 million viewers within a week and received two Webbys last year.

Currently focusing on developing unscripted shows and experiential projects, Polsinelli emphasizes the power of impactful storytelling in television. “There’s no greater power than creating a show that leaves a lasting impact,” he shares. “When you combine that with a compelling narrative from a unique perspective, it’s truly magical.”

Burnett, transitioning from Entropico’s branded content and creative production vertical, leads the charge in developing new scripted series and features. With previous experience on features in New York City, Burnett brings a wealth of creative expertise to his role. “Returning to this realm feels like a very organic evolution,” shares Burnett.

Among the exciting projects in development at Entropico Originals are a heartwarming animated kids series, a feature-length psychological serial killer thriller, a history-defining running documentary, a genre-defying competition series, and a captivating addition to the slate that promises to stand out in the realm of dating shows.

Reflecting on the evolving landscape of entertainment media, Polsinelli remarks, “We’re living through a very exciting and pivotal time for entertainment media right now. The team at Entropico has the passion, creativity, and experience necessary to bring some really great material to an ever-evolving marketplace.”

Entropico’s debut feature film, ONEFOUR: Against All Odds, marked a significant milestone for the company. Following a successful run of short-form releases in Australia and abroad, including the acclaimed Blue Frame and the award-winning documentary Through the Fire, ONEFOUR: Against All Odds soared to become the #2 Most Watched movie on Netflix, solidifying its cultural impact.

With a promising lineup of original content on the horizon, Entropico Originals is set to make waves in the world of film and television production, delivering diverse and engaging stories to audiences globally.
