Rodeo Show has announced the signing of acclaimed director Uri Schutzer for commercial representation in the US market.

Known for his diverse creative talent spanning traditional broadcast spots, promos, music videos, and interactive experiences, Schutzer brings a unique blend of classic cinema techniques and cutting-edge digital artistry to his work. With an impressive portfolio of commercials for global brands like Caesarstone, Unilever, Mercedes, Mercari, Nestlé, and SodaStream, as well as fashion and cosmetic companies, Schutzer captivates audiences with striking visuals, masterful camerawork, and a hint of whimsy.

“Uri is an incredibly talented and multifaceted director,” comments Roxanne Artesona, EP/Head of Sales at Rodeo Show. “His keen eye for design and cinematic storytelling, combined with innovative use of technology, allows him to seamlessly navigate brand narratives across various mediums. He is highly collaborative, always prepared, and greatly admired by his clients, making him an excellent addition to the Rodeo Show family.”

Expressing his excitement about joining Rodeo Show, Schutzer remarks, “Rodeo Show’s expansive vision for the US market perfectly aligns with my creative goals. They provide a solid infrastructure that allows me to focus on my craft. It’s a blend of friendship and professional growth, as I already share a strong camaraderie and collaboration with the Rodeo Show team. I couldn’t be more thrilled about our future endeavors together.”

Schutzer, recognized as “One of the Six Most Prominent Commercial Directors” by Globes, has an impressive list of commercial credits. These include a dynamic mixed-media spot for SodaStream featuring Laverne Cox during Pride Month, a visually stunning ad for auto brand Voyah, and a cinematic journey following a young group to a summer concert series for Coca-Cola.

Not one to confine his work to traditional boundaries, Schutzer’s projects range from the innovative SDG Experience for PwC, a VR and 360-degree projection dome educating audiences about the UN’s sustainable development goals, to an interactive music video for Andy Grammer’s “Keep Your Head Up,” recognized as “Most Innovative Music Video” at MTV’s VMAs.

Demonstrating his prowess in blending film, art, and technology, Schutzer created an airport clock installation for SIXT, featuring an Olympic synchronized swimming team forming numerical shapes. This installation, achieved through practical effects and coding, was a captivating visual experience.

A standout in the digital realm is his Abby Award–winning fashion app for Mast & Harbour, comprising 17 films that took viewers on unique journeys based on a shake of a digital dice roll.

Schutzer’s career is also marked by lasting relationships with brands, agencies, and celebrity talent. Over a decade, he has collaborated with stars like Gal Gadot and Sofia Carson, whom he has worked with since directing her first video and album launch campaign.

“I consider myself a creative businessman, aiming to create success for my clients,” concludes Schutzer. “It’s a strategic creative vision that draws me to technology and large-scale projects as much as traditional spot directing.”

With Uri Schutzer’s multifaceted talent and innovative approach, Rodeo Show anticipates groundbreaking campaigns and unforgettable brand experiences ahead.

Reel 360 News wishes Uri the best of luck at Rodeo Show.
