Disney+ has released the highly anticipated first trailer and key art for Lucasfilm’s newest original series, Star Wars: The Acolyte. Set to premiere on Tuesday, June 4, exclusively on Disney+, the live-action series promises an immersive and thrilling experience for fans of the beloved franchise.

Star Wars: The Acolyte delves into a gripping narrative centered around an investigation into a series of shocking crimes. The story unfolds as a respected Jedi Master, portrayed by Lee Jung-jae, finds himself confronting a dangerous warrior from his past, played by Amandla Stenberg. Created by Leslye Headland and based on the iconic Star Wars universe crafted by George Lucas, Star Wars: The Acolyte is executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. Charmaine DeGraté and Kor Adana serve as co-executive producers, while Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim, and Rob Bredow take on the role of producers.

Leslye Headland directs the premiere episodes (Episodes 101 & 102), with additional directors Kogonada (Episodes 103 & 107), Alex Garcia Lopez (Episodes 104 & 105), and Hanelle Culpepper (Episodes 106 & 108) contributing to the series.

Award-winning composer Michael Abels, renowned for his work on acclaimed films such as Get Out and Us, provides the score for the series, further enhancing the immersive and captivating experience for viewers.
