One of the highly anticipated outcomes of the Disney/Fox deal is Marvel’s beloved X-Men finally joining the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). That means the likes of Professor X, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey will eventually line up alongside the new Captain America (Falcon), Spider-man, Black Panther and Captain Marvel.
Then there’s Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds‘ R-rated Merc with the Mouth also tagged along in the acquisition. Anticipation could run even higher for this popular character to join the MCU because of the mayhem he will bring. Not to mention dollars. The first two Deadpool films grossed approximately $1.6 billion at the global box office.
Recently, a number of familiar faces from the X-Men movies, Sir Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Famke Janssen, reunited to raise awareness for the upcoming Global Citizen: United For Our Future benefit concert. In the spirit of Deadpool, Reynolds is an uninvited guest to party, bringing along some other friends as well. Watch below:

While there’s still no set timeline, Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with the Mouth is on his way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s been rumored that Reynolds has been having conversations with Marvel’s Kevin Feige.
