The Wendy’s Company has named Tariq Hassan chief marketing and customer growth officer. This newly created position will put him at the center of the fast-food chain’s efforts to strengthen its brand, customer experience and growth strategy.
Hassan joins Wendy’s effective immediately and will report to President and CEO Bob Wright. He will also serve on the company’s senior leadership team.
Lindsay Radkoski, who has served as U.S. chief marketing officer since 2024, will leave the company following a transition period with Hassan over the coming weeks.
Hassan brings more than 30 years of experience across marketing, customer experience, digital transformation and brand building. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, U.S. chief marketing and customer experience officer at McDonald’s.
During his time there, Hassan helped modernize the company’s marketing approach, strengthen digital and loyalty engagement and bring customer insights more directly into culturally relevant campaigns and menu innovation.
Before McDonald’s, he held senior roles across a range of consumer brands and agencies, focusing on brand repositioning, customer experience and data-driven marketing.
“Tariq’s appointment is another meaningful step in returning Wendy’s to profitable growth,” Wright said. “He is a proven brand and team builder with a distinctive ability to connect culture, technology and consumer insight to drive measurable growth.”

Wright said Hassan will also help develop talent and build new capabilities as Wendy’s works to reinforce its position in the QSR category.
For Hassan, the opportunity starts with the brand itself.
“Wendy’s is an iconic American brand that has something special most brands spend decades trying to build, a real point of view that our customers genuinely feel,” Hassan said.
He added that his focus will be on reigniting that connection across every customer touchpoint while working with leadership, franchisees and restaurant teams to reshape how Wendy’s tells its story, beginning with the food.
Wright also thanked Radkoski for her 15 years with the company, citing her commitment to Wendy’s customers, franchisees and organization.
Her departure will follow the completion of the transition with Hassan.
Reel 360 News wishes Tariq the best of luck in his new role.
