I wish to thank our readers for their patience and support as we work our way through the malicious attack on our REEL CHICAGO website over the Thanksgiving weekend.
REEL CHICAGO is completely down until our developers complete the scan of the data and remove the malware.
Once the site is clean, we will need to switch to a new server and double up on security measures to keep this from happening in the future.
This is all at a great cost and I thank those who have already graciously contributed to our gofunfundme page to help cushion the expense. I cannot express how grateful I am for your support at this most stressful time.

As you can see we are down but not out. Fortunately our sister site reel360.com (for national news coverage) did not take as hard of a hit so we continue to have a voice! We are publishing our current REEL CHICAGO stories in a category on REEL 360, and we will continue to send our weekly elert to those who elect to have our weekly trending stories delivered to their mailbox once a week.
