Coronavirus will apparently not stop Princess Diana. While other studios such as Disney, Paramount and now Universal are pushing back their tentpole films, Warner Bros is still speeding ahead toward its June 5th opening for Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 1984 aka WW 1984. If Marvel’s Black Widow does not get pushed from its May 1 opening date, then this will be only the second major film released for the summer.

Thus, the marketing campaign has gotten underway for Wonder Woman 1984. What we have is a very cool motion poster which counts down the days to the DC icon’s sequel. Diana is featured in her Golden Eagle armor. Look below:

There are also two new posters as well:

While the motion poster is pretty dope, not too sure about these posters tbh. Especially in the second one, Gal does not look too keen to be in the gold armor.

The hope is that things will slowly start returning to normal by the summer, but the Coronavirus has left everything up in the air, and there’s a lot of uncertainty about what will happen with theaters.

Full details on the Wonder Woman 1984 plot are being kept under wraps, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with a formidable new adversary named Cheetah and businessman Maxwell Lord.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be released in theaters on June 4, 2020.
