Naperville-based Rhea + Kaiser has been keeping more than busy this summer. The full service marketing agency announced a pair of promotions and a pair of new hires in July.
Jack Vos was appointed to vice president, creative director last week. The versatile veteran gained experience the old-fashioned way with Eiseman Johns and Law at the beginning of his career, where his duties as a junior art director included running the mount room.
From there, it was on to Leo Burnett, where Vos was not only a member of the Oldsmobile Group but also frequently lent his expertise to other projects when needed. Along the way, he enjoyed the opportunity to pitch a number of Super Bowl spots.
Since joining R+K in 2000, Vos claims to have worked on “every single” one of the agency’s clients.
Also advancing through the ranks is Chris Oakland, who became account manager, AMP this week.
The Michigan State grad and Apple alum will oversee day-to-day activity on the Bayer cereals and cotton business.
The two new faces at R+K are PR account manager Sara McClendon and digital media coordinator Sarah Sikorski.
McClendon will handle day-to-day PR support for Bayer. The Missouri State grad previously worked as food drive coordinator for the Ozarks Food Harvest.
Sikorski will handle digital ad traffic. Along with a BA from Columbia College, her resume includes industry experience in account and traffic coordination.
