The official lead-in to the Oscars, this 30-minute special will air on Sunday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. EDT/3:30 p.m. PDT on ABC. This marks Hough’s inaugural year as co-host, while Hudgens returns for her third consecutive year, promising viewers an insider’s look at the glitz and glamour of Hollywood’s most significant celebration.

Hosted by the iconic Jimmy Kimmel, the 96th Oscars will broadcast live on ABC and various global outlets on March 10, 2024, at the new time of 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT.

Executive produced by David Chamberlin, The Oscars Red Carpet Show will provide a multi-view experience of the red carpet arrivals, showcasing Oscar nominees, performers, and presenters. From exclusive interviews to can’t-miss moments, viewers can expect to be immersed in the pre-ceremony atmosphere like never before.

Ahead of the official pre-show, ABC News will kick off Oscar Sunday with “Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live!” The special coverage, hosted by ABC News Live Prime anchor Linsey Davis and “Good Morning America” weekend co-anchor Whit Johnson, will run from 1:00-4:00 p.m. EDT/10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. PDT. It will stream live on ABC News Live, featuring live interviews with nominees and an exclusive preview of the Governors Ball after-party.



As the sun sets on Oscar night, the excitement continues with After the Oscars, a fan-favorite special airing live from the Dolby Theatre at 9:00 a.m. EDT on Monday, March 11. Hosted by Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, and the “Live” family, this show captures the unforgettable moments with the night’s biggest winners.
