USPS delivers holiday joy in new campaign

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is set to launch its latest holiday campaign, “Built for the Holidays,” as part of its ongoing commitment to delivering joy during the festive season.

The campaign, created by McCann New York, is expected to be officially announced on November 1 at 9 AM ET, featuring a unique and creative approach to showcase USPS’s dramatically improved delivery network.

The USPS is a central part of the holiday season, handling nearly 12 billion mailpieces and packages nationwide. The “Built for the Holidays” campaign aims to highlight USPS’s significant transformation as part of its 10-year business plan.

The creative assets of the campaign create a captivating ‘USPS world’ built as a diorama, using actual USPS shipping boxes, envelopes, and various packaging materials. To engage and surprise viewers, the campaign film incorporates digital experiences with clever Easter eggs.

For example, QR codes are strategically placed on a house with a “Rented” sign, directing users to the USPS change of address landing page, and another QR code leads to the Postal Service’s iconic “Operation Santa” website. The campaign also features a mini figurine of the Postmaster General, billboards constructed from USPS holiday stamps, and mini eagles emblematic of the brand planted throughout. Watch below:
