Trump dumps on “Woke” Howard Stern

Radio personality Howard Stern finds himself in the spotlight once again, as former celebrity friends, including former President Donald Trump and comedian Bill Maher, have launched public attacks on the self-described “King of All Media.”

The former president, a frequent guest on Stern’s radio show in the past, recently took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to criticize Stern. Trump referred to Stern as a “broken weirdo” who had gone “woke.” He accused Stern of losing friends and a significant portion of his audience and claimed that his influence had dwindled to nothing.

Trump’s comments on Truth Social read, “The real Howard Stern is a weak, pathetic, and disloyal guy, who lost his friends and MUCH of his audience. I did his show many times in the good old days, and then he went woke, and nobody cares about him any longer. Stern’s influence is gone, and without that, he’s got NOTHING. Just a broken weirdo, unattractive both inside and out, trying like hell to be relevant.”

Bill Maher’s Criticism Adds to Stern’s Woes

Comedian and talk show host Bill Maher had previously targeted Stern with comments about his second marriage to Beth Ostrosky, a move that prompted Stern to sever ties with Maher. This attack from a former ally compounded Stern’s recent troubles.

Stern Embraces “Woke” Label

In response to the accusations of going “woke,” Stern did not shy away from the label. He declared on his Sirius XM show, “I am woke, motherf–ker, and I love it!” Stern’s declaration came in response to a fan’s YouTube lament about his liberal leanings. He continued, “By the way, I kind of take that as a compliment, that I’m woke. If woke means I can’t get behind Trump, which is what I think it means, or that I support people who want to be transgender or I’m for the vaccine, dude, call me woke as you f–king want.”

This public exchange of criticism is not the first time Howard Stern has found himself embroiled in controversy. Known for his provocative and outspoken views, Stern has a long history of pushing boundaries in the world of entertainment.
