The One Club for Creativity and Google are taking their AI competition worldwide with the launch of the first global One Club AI Creative Challenge, a live tournament that turns generative AI into a creative spectator sport.
Following initial competitions during The One Club’s Creative Week in May and at Google Creative House in Cannes in June, the challenge will now expand to cities around the world, with participants competing for $50,000 in prize money and the title of AI Creative Champion.
The competition will feature 128 AI creators battling head-to-head across 16 cities in timed, 10-minute creative sprints.
Each participant will receive a secret, randomly selected brief and must use generative AI tools to develop and execute an idea under intense time pressure. A jury of industry creatives will evaluate the work based on speed, prompt mastery and creative execution.
One winner from each city will advance through the tournament bracket.
The North American leg begins September 3 in Los Angeles, hosted by Entropico LA, followed by Toronto on November 12.

Additional events will take place across Amsterdam, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Istanbul, Lisbon, London, Mexico City, São Paulo, Mumbai, Tokyo and Sydney.
City champions will then advance through quarterfinal and semifinal rounds before reaching a global finale hosted by Google in New York on February 18, 2027.
“The AI Creative Challenge celebrates what happens when human imagination meets the latest AI technology,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO of The One Club for Creativity.
“This isn’t about replacing creativity. It’s about showcasing the next generation of creative talent, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and giving creatives around the world a global stage to compete, learn and inspire one another.”
The challenge also reflects the industry’s growing interest in how quickly creatives can move from prompt to idea to execution using emerging AI tools.
By structuring the event like an esports tournament, The One Club and Google are turning that process into something audiences can watch unfold in real time.
All local competitions will be free and open to spectators, including members of the creative industry and the general public.
The global champion will be crowned in New York next February.
