
Los Angeles-based Terry Hines & Associates has acquired award-winning creative studio Modern Logic, a move that significantly deepens the agency network’s full-service marketing capabilities and brings design-led strategy and execution under one roof.
The addition of Modern Logic expands THA’s integrated offering, giving clients access to high-level creative strategy and production across the full marketing ecosystem. Known for its culture-forward, boundary-pushing work at the intersection of branding and entertainment, Modern Logic now joins a broader collective within the THA network that includes digital marketing and social agency Homebrew, out-of-home and print services company THA|Create, experiential shop MAKR, and sister agency The MRKT Co.
Together, the agencies form an end-to-end platform designed to solve complex brand challenges with creativity, scale, and precision.

The acquisition comes on the heels of a strong creative run for Modern Logic, including a Grand Prix Titanium Award at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for its collaboration with Wieden+Kennedy on DoorDash’s “DoorDash All The Ads,” one of the most talked-about spots of the year.
The studio has maintained that momentum with high-profile projects for Epic Games tied to the launch of the latest Fortnite installment, as well as the 11-minute branded content short “Fruithead” for Gushers, reinforcing its reputation for ambitious, entertainment-driven storytelling.
Modern Logic’s leadership team will remain in place. Erica Coates, formerly President of MOCEAN, steps in as CEO, bringing experience growing agencies and delivering solutions for brands including AT&T, Lexus, Amazon, Waymo, and Activision. Michael Bennett continues as Chief Growth Officer, while Allan Gungormez serves as Chief Strategy Officer, drawing on a background that includes creative strategy for brands such as PlayStation, Beats by Dre and Netflix.
