Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding may have taken over Madison Square Garden, but according to one guest, the ceremony itself still felt intimate.

Good Morning America co-host George Stephanopoulos, who attended the Friday ceremony, described the couple’s vows as “real, vulnerable, serious, and silly.”

“The ceremony was great, moving,” Stephanopoulos told ABC News in a statement. “Adam Sandler, funny and touching. Vows, everything you would hope for, real, vulnerable, serious, and silly. Deeply loving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?”

Swift and Kelce, both 36, reportedly tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York, with Sandler officiating.

According to TMZ, Swift walked down the aisle to a string arrangement of one of her own songs, while Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters, Travis’ nieces, served as flower girls, scattering petals as the bride made her entrance.

Sandler also reportedly wrote and performed an original song for the couple, described as both humorous and touching, because apparently officiating a wedding between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was not already enough pressure.

After the ceremony, guests were moved to the main floor of Madison Square Garden for a reception reportedly styled as “Alice in Wonderland meets Wizard of Oz.” Which, honestly, sounds about right for a Swift wedding staged inside the World’s Most Famous Arena.

Swift’s representatives confirmed details of the couple’s wedding looks to People, revealing that both the bride and groom wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson in close collaboration with the couple. Their shoes were custom Christian Louboutin, while Swift wore Cartier jewelry.

“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture,” the statement read. “They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”

The couple also skipped traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen. Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, was Best Man.

“Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen,” the statement continued. “Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”

Dior also congratulated the couple, confirming the wedding looks were created in the house’s Paris ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne.

After the ceremony, Madison Square Garden’s jumbotrons reportedly lit up with the message: “JUST T MARRIED!”
