Sugarhi adds rising director Paloma Rincón

Sugarhi, which has become the go-to studio for vibrant visual storytelling, has announced the immediate addition of Paloma Rincón to its directorial roster.

Currently based in Spain, Rincón is a Mexican-born director with a strong focus on visual storytelling. Her quirky style is marked by bold colors and graphic composition set builds, which give her tabletop and performance-based work a unique flavor that is purely Paloma.

Brands she has worked within the U.S. and abroad include Absolut, Bombay Sapphire, Coca-Cola, Ford, Google, Heineken, Ikea, Michelob, Oreo, PlayStation, Schweppes, Sonos, Swatch, TJ Maxx, and Toyota, among many others.

Her photography has appeared in many of the world’s most prestigious publications, and her original works have been exhibited in Europe, Asia, South America, and North America.

REELated:

Sugarhi is wonderfully aligned with my creative style, unifying different visions from different artists/directors within a common world that’s quirky, bold, and graphic, which sets the company apart and gives it a unique identity,” Rincón began. “Over the past few years, I’ve evolved my visual universe into moving images, and I’m honored to join forces with a team that excels in all different phases of the process and shares a unified vision.”

Continuing, Rincón added, “I’m really looking forward to exploring new possibilities, embracing new challenges, and finding the best solutions with my creative vision and taking full advantage of Sugarhi’s immense superpowers.”

According to Sugarhi, “While we love where we’ve been, having just expanded our roster with Paloma, we’re excited to see where we can take Sugarhi next together. Expect a lot more visual freshness to come!”

Sugarhi is represented on the West Coast and in the Midwest by GRGD, and on the East Coast by Free Agents. Rincón is now available through Sugarhi for commercial and music video projects throughout North America.

Reel 360 News wishes Paloma the best of luck at Sugarhi.
