Savannah O'Leary

SixTwentySix has added award-winning director Savannah O’Leary to its roster, following the studio’s recent acquisition of boutique production company SLMBR PRTY. The move signals a continued expansion of SixTwentySix’s bi-coastal presence and its commitment to authentic, craft-driven storytelling.

Toronto-born and now based in Brooklyn, O’Leary is known for her poised, playful, and emotionally precise filmmaking. With a background in both documentary and post-production, she brings an editor’s instinct for rhythm and an eye for humanity that shines through in both large-scale campaigns and intimate profile pieces.

O’Leary’s career began with acclaimed documentary shorts, including Gone Viral for The New Yorker and The Making of Panthera for DAZED, both praised for their blend of humor and heart. Since then, she has directed campaigns for brands such as Function Health, Air Force Reserve, Huggies, eBay Motors, Marine Corps, Comcast, and BMO, as well as socially driven work for Merit America and the Trillium Gift of Life Foundation.

Her portfolio has been honored by the 1.4 Awards, Short of the Week, Director’s Library, Vimeo Staff Picks, and The Webby Awards.

“What the team has built at SixTwentySix is really impressive,” said O’Leary. “They’ve cultivated a roster and brand relationships rooted in craft, with an eye on the future. Their company vibe is very familial, and I’m excited to be in the mix with such an inspired group.”

SixTwentySix co-founders Jake Krask and Austin Barbera shared equal enthusiasm for the new partnership. “Savannah has a rare ability to merge documentary sensitivity with cinematic precision,” said Krask. “She knows how to make human stories feel elevated by balancing warmth, style, and intention.”

Barbera added, “She’s an incredible fit for where we’re headed — expanding our creative voice while staying true to the craft-first ethos that defines SixTwentySix.”

O’Leary’s signing caps a pivotal season for the studio, which has expanded into New York under Executive Producer Sarah Donnenberg and earned national recognition for Krask and Barbera, who were recently named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in Advertising & Marketing.

O’Leary continues to be represented by Alfredo Films in Canada. Reel 360 News wishes Savannah the best of luck at SixTwentySix.
