Ruthless’ Nadège August helps ECOLUXE close out Emmy week

Emmy week had one more stop before the red carpets and acceptance speeches took over. On Sept. 11, producer Debbie Durkin hosted her annual ECOLUXE Endless Summer Festival at a private residence in Beverly Hills, bringing together actors, athletes, creators and industry guests for an afternoon built around wellness, sustainability and philanthropy.

Among those attending were Gilles Marini, Jesse Kove, Obba Babatundé, Nadège August, Porscha Coleman, RJ Cyler, Juju Brener, Mila Brener, Shirly Brener, Jasmine Davis, Joseph Gatt, Terrence Terrell, Carrie Bernans, Patricia Kara, Adam Waheed and others.

The invitation-only event, now in its 19th year, benefited Wagmor Pets Dog Rescue, with dogs on site available for foster or adoption.

Guests posed for Getty Images coverage and summer portraits by photographer David Christopher Lee, while the lounge mixed wellness activations, beauty, food, travel and pet-focused brands.

Offerings included Patriox Water, Relax Sauna, College Girl Cherished, Libertad Vida Beauty, ROSS Massage, My Best Bud, Honey & Stone Beauty, Marci’s Pet Kitchen, Fayah Streetwear Sunglasses and ettitude.

One of the afternoon’s youngest entrepreneurs was Aria, the five-year-old founder of Colors by Aria. The brand began after a simple trip to the store, when Aria asked her mother if she could buy makeup. When the answer was no, she decided she would make her own.

That idea became a beauty line shaped by her imagination, with Aria helping choose the products, colors, scents, names, and packaging herself. At ECOLUXE, she introduced guests to Ari Heart, her color-changing lip oil, bringing the same confidence and personality that launched the brand. Her story has become part of the brand’s message: big ideas do not have to wait for age, experience or permission.

The Jamaica Tourism Board also participated, spotlighting the destination and gifting Blue Mountain Coffee, while Petros on Sunset and Strictly Vegan provided food. DJ Paxy handled the music throughout the afternoon.

One of the more interactive activations came from Libertad Vida Beauty, which hosted a make-your-own lip gloss bar, while guests also received wellness treatments and product samples from participating brands.

The event’s charitable focus centered on Wagmor Pets, continuing ECOLUXE’s longstanding effort to connect celebrity hospitality with animal rescue and socially conscious brands.

For Durkin, that mix of lifestyle and purpose remains the point of the series.

ECOLUXE positions itself as a platform where entertainment figures can discover eco-conscious, wellness-oriented and philanthropic brands while supporting causes tied to people, pets and sustainable living.

By the end of the afternoon, the familiar Emmy-week ingredients were all there: recognizable faces, camera flashes, gifting bags and plenty of brand discovery.

Only this one came with rescue dogs.
