Awards season may have officially belonged to the Emmys, but the surrounding week had nearly as much action happening offstage. On Sept. 12, Luxury Experience & Co. founder Melissa McAvoy and The McCord List founder Rachel McCord hosted an exclusive celebrity gifting lounge in Los Angeles that also launched The McCord List Studios.

The beauty, health and wellness-focused event brought together actors, creators, media professionals and influencers for a curated afternoon of products, brand introductions and on-site interviews during Emmy weekend.

The collaboration blended Luxury Experience & Co.’s celebrity gifting model with The McCord List TV’s media platform, giving participating brands opportunities to connect directly with talent while also appearing in dedicated interview segments produced during the event.

“Our goal is always to create meaningful, authentic connections between exceptional brands and influential talent,” McAvoy told REEL 360 News. “Partnering with The McCord List TV allowed us to expand that experience by giving participating brands the opportunity to share their stories through professionally produced media content.”

She added that the event also gave the companies a chance to celebrate the opening of The McCord List Studios during one of Hollywood’s busiest weekends.

Guests included two-time Emmy winner Vincent De Paul, Gilles Marini, Chris Beal, Demetrius Grosse, Irina Dubova, Massi Furlan, Nadège August, Naomi Grossman, Omar Cook, Vic Brew, Porscha Coleman, Sadie Brook, Yaya DaCosta and Nicky Whelan, among others.

Secret Room Events brought Emmy-week gifting to the Petersen rooftop

Featured brands included Truekind, My Pampered Feet, The Revelre, Belle Glos, Bertha Mae’s Brownie Co., Fi and Monaesi, spanning beauty, wellness, fashion, food, wine and pet products.

Beyond the gifting itself, the larger strategy was clear: use the in-person event as the starting point for broader media exposure.

Select brands were interviewed on-site for segments produced by The McCord List TV, extending the experience beyond the room and into content distributed through its media network.

The McCord List TV says its weekday programming is aimed primarily at women ages 28 to 54, with more than 20 shows distributed across platforms including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung Smart TV, USA Today FAST and YTA Broadcast.

And with that, we may finally be able to put a bow on Emmy season.

At least until the next gifting lounge invitation arrives. Take a look at some photos from the event below:
