MLB will handle the production and distribution of Royals games throughout the 2026 season, featuring a roster led by All-Stars Bobby Witt Jr. and Maikel Garcia, as well as emerging talent like Jac Caglianone.
Beyond streaming, the rollout also includes a wide distribution footprint across traditional providers, with channel availability spanning DirecTV, Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, and other regional carriers, ensuring access across both digital and linear platforms.
The move reflects MLB’s continued effort to modernize how local audiences engage with the game, shifting toward direct access and subscription flexibility as regional sports network models continue to evolve.
