‘Ocean’s 8’ sets new benchmark for franchise with record domestic opening

The Sandra Bullock-led Ocean’s 8 pulled off the biggest job of all – setting a new bar as the Gary Ross female-led film had the biggest opening of any of the Ocean’s films. The film topped the box office this weekend with $41.6 million over its Fri-Sun debut.
