Domino’s paves streets to make safer for pizza delivery

Last year, Crispin, Porter & Bogusky launched client Domino’s own Carryout Insurance, in which the pizza delivery giant claimed that it would “insure” a pizza by replacing it with another one completely for free.

Now, realizing that potholes in roads can hinder fully enjoying a Domino’s Pizza, the Ann Arbor, Michigan-based company is now offering to pave roads to ensure their pizzas are delivered without mishap.

According to a statement from Domino’s, the ‘Paving for Pizza’ initiative has repaired roads in Bartonville, Texas; Milford, Delaware; Athens, Georgia; and Burbank, California.

What about Chicago? We eat a whole lot of Domino’s and have a ton of potholes. Watch the spot below:

Now, they’re asking customers if their town has bad roads to nominate it for a paving grant at pavingforpizza.com. If their town is selected, the customer will be notified and the city will receive funds to help repair roads so pizzas make it home safely.
